Welcome to Bury Parish CLT
There is a housing shortage, both here in Bury and across the country, and there is a high chance of new housing being built in our parish.
We now have a golden opportunity to influence the housing that will be built to ensure it truly benefits local people and meets our needs as a community. This means housing that is genuinely affordable, thoughtful, and future-ready.
About us
Following consultation with Chichester District Council and other local organisations, Bury Parish Council has approved the formation of a Community Led Housing Steering Group with the aim of creating a new Community Land Trust (CLT) for Bury Parish, as the best way of influencing future housing development in our area.
Current membership of the Bury Parish Community Led Housing Steering Group includes four Parish Councillors (Richard Champness, Karen Davis, Graham Morrison and Gemma Driver) and three other local residents.
